This listing is for an adorable Herend porcelain koi fish (also known as Chinese Dolphin) 2-lite single candlestick with iridescent bronze bodys and burnt orange (rust) colored fins and candle holder with 24 K gold embellishment. The koi figure has a wide mouth that appears to be smiling and has wide puffy eyes. Marked with Herend trademark stamp and "Herend, Hungary, Hand Painted, 7933/ECA". Herend porcelain items are made in Hungary of high quality porcelain and are prized by buyers everywhere.
This novelty candlestick is now discontinued.
Measures 7" high, 5 1/4" wide and 3 1/2" deep. Combined weight is 10.6 ounces.
This nice koi candlestick is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws.
Please note that in our photos you will see a thin white ring below the double tulip shaped candle holder attachment. This is common on all Herend candlesticks as they were made in two pieces and attached at the factory in this way. This not a repair as the candlestick has not been damaged but we want to call this to your attention so that you will not be surprised upon arrival.
