I'm selling (6 or 12
)
4 3/4" tall
Banded Water Tumblers
made by the Federal Glass Co.
(probably as a Go-Along)
For Taylor, Smith & Taylor's "Lu Ray" Line of China and also for MacBeth-Evans "Petalware Cremax & Regular Cremax with fired-on circular band decoration (pastel yellow, blue, pink & green).

Description:
The Tumblers have the pastel Lu Ray/Petalware colored bands (pastel blue, green, pink on them and are 4 3/4" tall.  I think they were made as Go-Alongs by the Federal Glass Co. (their mark is on the bottom) but I don't know if they were sanctioned and sold by the TST/MacBeth-Evans Companys or not?  The colored bands certainly match the Lu Ray/Petalware colors.  From time to time I've encountered one or two of the tumblers in with partial sets, but they were always in bad shape.
THEY ARE DEFINITELY OLD & RARE
- especially in this condition!
History:
I purchased the tumblers many years ago in Eau Claire, Wisconsin at an estate sale.  They were packed away with a large set of Lu Ray china.
